Real Madrid vs. Granada live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

A match against struggling Granada on Sunday offers Real Madrid a great opportunity to break out of their run of poor form.

Real Madrid have been in some pretty awful recent form by their imperious standards, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side having won just one of their last five matches in all competitions. It’s a run that has seen them fall four points adrift of league leaders Barcelona, with the league title looking further out of reach with every passing matchday. They need to arrest their slide, and fast.

The good news for Merengues supporters is that they should be able to win at home to Granada on Sunday. The Andalusian outfit are enduring an especially difficult season, and the sacking of their manager Joaquín Caparrós back in January hasn’t greatly improved things. They’re second from bottom and two points adrift of safety, though expect that gap to be bigger by the end of the weekend.

Key player - Jeison Murillo (Granada)

Despite Granada's struggles so far this season, Colombian centre-back Jeison Murillo is one of the most highly-rated young defenders in La Liga at the moment. He's notably attracted attention from Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan, and will have to justify such speculation in this match if his side are to stand any chance of picking up a point or three.

Key matchup - Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Allan Nyom

Cristiano Ronaldo remains perhaps the most dangerous attacking player in world football, with his numbers this seaosn speaking for themselves. He’s scored 31 goals in 25 La Liga appearances, eight in eight Champions League appearances, and a Copa del Rey goal for good measure. He’s got everything you could want in a wide forward, and Granada full-back Allan Nyom will have to put in the performance of his life to keep Ronaldo quiet for the duration.

Real Madrid injuries and suspensions

Out: Pepe (thigh), James Rodríguez (foot), Isco (suspended). In doubt: None.

Granada injuries and suspensions

Out: Adrián Colunga (calf). In doubt: Jeison Murillo, Rubén Pérez (foot).

Real Madrid will certainly be without centre-back Pepe and playmakers James Rodríguez and Isco. Granada, meanwhile, have Brighton loanee striker Adrián Colunga out injured, with centre-back Jeison Murillo and midfield anchorman Rubén Pérez facing late fitness tests.
