Chelsea vs. Liverpool 2015: Time, TV schedule and team news

Liverpool will look to keep their faint Champions League hopes alive with a win away at Chelsea on Sunday.

Chelsea have cruised to the Premier League title, though they will be looking to keep their foot on the gas for their supporters in the final three games of the season. The first of those takes place this Sunday, when Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool visit Stamford Bridge in search of their first league win away at Chelsea since 2011.

It may be a dead rubber for Chelsea -- whose win over Crystal Palace last time out secured them the trophy -- but it’s certainly not for Liverpool. Their hopes of making the Champions League are faint, though Manchester United’s recent wobble means their Merseyside rivals are only four points adrift of the top four with three to play. Unless Louis van Gaal’s side improve their form quickly, it could be a fight that goes right to the wire.

Key player -- Nemanja Matić (Chelsea)

The key player in Chelsea's midfield this season has undoubtedly been Matić, with the Serbian having provided much-needed steel in front of José Mourinho's defense. He'll have to do the same again in this match, with Jordan Henderson and Steven Gerrard likely to be given freedom to break forward either side of Lucas Leiva in the Liverpool midfield.

Key matchup -- Eden Hazard vs. Liverpool's right back

Matić may well be the most tactically important Chelsea player, but there's no doubting that Hazard is the most talented. The Belgian winger could reasonably claim to be the best player in the Premier League at present, with his pace and trickery making him a nightmare for opposition right backs. Emre Can -- likely to start in that position for Liverpool in this game -- could well be the Belgian's latest victim.

Chelsea injuries and suspensions

Out: Diego Costa (hamstring), Oscar (thigh). In doubt: Ramires (illness).

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Mamadou Sakho (hamstring), Daniel Sturridge (hip), Jon Flanagan (knee), Mario Balotelli (ankle). In doubt: None.

Chelsea will still be without a couple of first-team regulars in Costa and Oscar, while Ramires faces a late fitness test. Liverpool will be missing strikers Sturridge and Balotelli, and defensive duo Sakho and Flanagan.
