Backheel Breakfast: Copa America squads are out

Copa America doesn’t get underway until June 11, but every participant has named at least a 30-man preliminary squad, and most have declared their final 23-man teams. You can find all the squads here, in graphical format.

The most notable omission is Luis Suarez, who is suspended. Brazil are without Lucas Moura and Oscar, who miss out due to injury concerns. A number of teams have opted to turn to youth, leaving out players in their 30s who featured regularly for the team in the build to the World Cup and in fall friendlies.
