Neither Bayern Munich or Barcelona have made any changes to their starting lineups from the first leg of their Champions League semifinal, despite the Catalan outfit having recorded a spectacular 3-0 win in that fixture.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona both unchanged for Champions League semifinal second leg
If insanity really is doing the same thing and expecting different results, Pep Guardiola is insane.
Bayern coach Pep Guardiola has resisted temptation to switch things around, though presumably won't start this game attempting to man-to-man mark Barça all over the pitch. He tried that for the first quarter of the match in Barcelona, and, suffice to say, things didn't go well. Expect them to look a little more conventional from the offset.
For Barça, meanwhile, Luis Enrique’s instructions will probably be to simply do the same again. They were brilliant throughout the first leg, and Bayern scarcely got a whiff of Marc-André ter Stegen’s goal.
