Luis Suarez faces players he bit, racially abused in Champions League final

El Clásico is the biggest rivalry in world soccer, and there's never been a Champions League final between Barcelona and Real Madrid. So it was a tad disappointing when Los Merengues slipped up in the semifinal against Juventus, but it means we're going to get the next best thing: Luis Suarez against his two biggest adversaries.

In 2011, Suarez was suspended for allegedly telling Patrice Evra, "I kicked you because you are black," as well as other racially charged insults. At the 2014 World Cup, Suarez bit Giorgio Chiellini, for which he was suspended for the remainder of the World Cup, the first three months of this club season and the 2015 Copa America. And in the Champions League final on June 6, Suarez will line up directly against both of them.

Suarez plays on the right for Barca, regularly swapping between the wing and center forward with Lionel Messi. Evra is Juventus’ starting left back and Chiellini is their left central defender. They are the two players who will see the most of him during the game. He’s not just stepping on the same field with them, but battling with them for an entire match.

More likely than not, this won’t get especially ugly, and everyone’s main motivation will be winning the Champions League. But there’s going to be a lot of talk about these past incidents leading up to the game, and a lot made of whether Chiellini or Evra will shake hands with Suarez. They might not, and they might beat him into a pulp, and it might be a lot of fun.
