Backheel Breakfast: Raheem Sterling wouldn’t sign with Liverpool for infinite money
Raheem Sterling’s agent is having himself a day.

Raheem Sterling’s agent Aidy Ward had some wonderful quotes published in the London Evening Standard overnight, in which he says that “he’s not signing for £900k a week” and “[Jamie] Carragher is a knob, everyone knows it.” Ward has denied the quotes to Sky Sports, suggesting that he might be dealing with quite a talented impersonator! Because of the quotes, Liverpool have cancelled their meeting with Ward and Sterling.

What to watch on Thursday (click for listings, all times ET)
Guarani vs. Racing (6:45 p.m.) - Very much the Copa Lib undercard.
River Plate vs. Cruzeiro (9 p.m.) - This should be a semifinal or a final. Winner might be the favorite.
Pachuca vs. Queretaro (9 p.m.) - Both teams lost top players to the U-20 World Cup, so go old guys!
Santos Laguna vs. Chivas (11 p.m.) - Probably kinda defensive and blah, if we’re being honest.
