New Barcelona home shirt has hoops for the first time ever

And the Catalan flag away shirt is back, though in a more subtle way.

Traditionalists, sound the #AgainstModernFootball alarm! FC Barcelona, who has worn stripes since the beginning of forever, has converted their home kit to hoops. The colors are the same as always, but they’re on the shirt in horizontal lines instead of vertical.

Inevitably, a lot of fans are going to love the new look, while others curse Nike to the heavens for ruining their club. The gold accents on the collar and the sides are a nice touch, too, and go along well with the numbers.

Barcelona's new away shirt brings back the Catalan flag colors, but unlike their previous iteration of that shirt, it's not just the home kit with different colors. Instead, it has a solid gold front with the stripes on the back.

Love it? Hate it? Think that the game has now well and truly had its soul sucked out of it? Ready to give Barca and Nike a few hundred dollars?
