Arsenal won’t be able to end their decade-long title drought this season, but they can pull off their best finish in that period of time. They’re in position to finish second, and they’ll like their chances to get all three points against Hull City on Monday.

The Tigers might be the more desperate side, but Arsenal have every reason to fight for all three points on Monday.

Even if they don’t put in their best performance at the KC Stadium, Arsenal do have a bit of a safety net between them and fourth place, which they’d like to finish above to avoid a Champions League playoff. They have a game in hand, and top three rivals Manchester United lost on Saturday.
Hull are part of an extremely tight relegation race, and could find themselves in the bottom three next week if they don’t snag some results. The good news for them is that Newcastle are free-falling, so the Tigers might only need to get to 35 points to stay up. The bad news is that Sunderland, Leicester City and Aston Villa have improved considerably in the last month, and look more like picking up points from their final games than Hull do.
Hull City injuries and suspensions
Out: Robert Snodgrass (knee). In doubt: Mohamed Diame (knee), Nikica Jelavic (knee), Curtis Davies (thigh)
Arsenal injuries and suspensions
Out: Mathieu Debuchy (knee)
For once, the Gunners have basically a full team to select from. Even Abou Diaby could theoretically start. What a time to be alive.
