Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream

Can David Moyes complete an unlikely double?

Barcelona will look to move a step closer to reclaiming the La Liga title on Saturday, when they play host to David Moyes’ Real Sociedad. They’re still only two points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table heading into the final three games of the season, and any slip-ups at this late stage could well prove to be very costly indeed for Luis Enrique’s side.

Realistically, La Real really shouldn’t be able to cause Barcelona any problems. Moyes has achieved the bare minimum and nothing more as their coach this season, and after avoiding relegation looks set to move back to the Premier League in the summer -- potentially to Newcastle United. Moyes did nevertheless manage to mastermind a remarkable upset in the reverse fixture in San Sebastián in January, though a repeat seems extremely unlikely indeed.

Key player - Gerónimo Rulli (Real Sociedad)

Real Sociedad's goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli is regarded as one of the most talented shot-stoppers in football at the moment. The young Argentine will certainly have to be at his best if La Real are to stand any chance of picking something up in this match, as he's sure to face a barrage of Barça shots.

Key matchup - Real Sociedad's defensive organisation vs. Barcelona's possession

When La Real beat Barça earlier in the season, it was a victory built on classic Moyesian tactics: organised defending and quick counters down the flanks. They’ll have to be even better with their organisation in this match, as they take on a Barça team buoyed yet further by home field advantage.

Barcelona injuries and suspensions

Out: None. In doubt: Jérémy Mathieu (achilles).

Real Sociedad injuries and suspensions

Out: David Zurutuza (knee), Mikel González. In doubt: Chory Castro (foot).

Barcelona only have one doubt heading into this match, with defender Jérémy Mathieu struggling with an achilles injury. Real Sociedad midfielder David Zurutuza is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, though winger Chory Castro could return from a foot problem to play. Centre-back Mikel González is suspended.
