Italy got scored on because they were too busy arguing with the ref

Italy thought they'd scored a goal to go ahead of Croatia in their Euro 2016 qualifier. The ref disallowed it, and they were mad. So mad they argued with the linesman instead of getting back on defense. The results were fantastic.

While the Italians were arguing with one of their central midfielders and their left back way up the field, their defense was totally screwed. That guy playing central defense in the five-on-three break is their most attacking central midfielder.

That’s the fastest you’re ever going to see a disallowed goal turn into a goal that counts on the other end.
