England vs. Mexico, 2015 Women’s World Cup: Time, TV schedule and live stream

Both teams are in serious need of a win.

Mexico and England both had disappointing first matches in the Women’s World Cup, and need to up their game when they face each other on Saturday.

England were expected to lose their first game, but their fans were a bit disheartened by how it went down. They only lost 1-0 to France, but never had anything resembling a good scoring chance. France’s midfield and defense absolutely dominated the Three Lions and was virtually unopposed in passing the ball in circles to secure a victory.

El Tri should have won their opening game against Colombia, but were the victim of a refereeing error. They scored a good winner in stoppage time, but it was inexplicably disallowed, despite there being no foul or offside by Mexico on the move.

Coming into the tournament, most believed that Mexico or Colombia would have to win the game between them for either to have a good shot to advance. They drew, so Mexico now need to pull off an upset to have any chance of going through. They're underdogs here, but on the evidence of England's first match, they're certainly not untouchable.
