South Korea vs. Costa Rica, World Cup 2015: Start time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Both teams have big superstars, but which supporting cast will step up?

Eric Bolte-USA TODAY Sports

Projected last-place finisher in Group E, Costa Rica, is suddenly looking pretty dangerous. They snagged a point in their opening match of the 2015 Women’s World Cup against Spain, and will now like their chances to make the knockout round. However, they’ll probably need to beat South Korea to make that happen.

The Koreans are mostly on track, despite a loss in their first game. They weren’t expected to take anything from their game against Brazil, and they looked competitive. Between that performance and their draw with the United States before this tournament, they’ll be confident that they can win this match.

For Costa Rica, all eyes will be on Shirley Cruz, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain. Just about everything in the Ticas attack runs through her. Ahead of her, Raquel Rodríguez is a great finisher, and it's likely that any chances Costa Rica do generate will fall to her. On the other end, South Korea will have to get forward in support of Ji So-yun. She's a world class player, but she can't do everything.
