Slovenia vs. England, Euro 2016 qualifying: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Three Lions come into Ljubljana with a perfect qualifying record.

It was a minor surprise when Roy Hodgson was allowed to stay on as England manager following an absolutely disastrous World Cup, but he’s vindicated the FA’s decision so far. The Three Lions have a perfect record in qualifying, and they’ll put that on the line in Slovenia on Sunday.

England posted their most impressive result of qualifying in their opener, when they won away to Switzerland. With their most difficult fixture out of the way, the pressure’s been off, and they’ve coasted to 15 points.

Slovenia are currently fighting Switzerland for second in the group, and their only disappointing result has been a loss away to Estonia. They beat Switzerland at home and put in a respectable showing at Wembley, losing 3-1. They’ll like their chances of getting a result much better at home.

Leighton Baines and Daniel Sturridge are the most notable players to miss out on this England squad through injury, while Harry Kane and John Stones are playing in the Under-21 championships. Slovenia's most notable omission is Tim Matavž, who failed to regain form after returning from injury in March and has been dropped.
