England vs. Colombia live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch the Women’s World Cup online

Colombia are already through, but England need a result in their final group stage game.

Matt Kryger-USA TODAY Sports

Colombia have pulled off two great results in this World Cup, barely hanging onto a draw against Mexico before pulling off the biggest upset in this tournament’s history, against France. They’re going to the knockout stage, but they haven’t clinched a top two spot yet. They can do that with a draw against England -- and they can top the group if they win.

It’s been a disappointing tournament for England so far, and they’re not quite assured progression to the knockout stage. If they lose to Colombia, they could very well find themselves as one of the two third-placed teams that doesn’t go through. They’ve struggled going forward, though a shake-up in their starting XI could fix that.

After their substitutes made a massive impact in their win over Mexico, England are going to have to consider making some changes to their lineup. Alex Greenwood and Karen Carney combined for the Three Lions' second goal and might have earned starting spots for this one. Colombia are likely to stick with the team that upset France, and will need their band of three attacking midfielders -- Yoreli Rincón, Diana Ospina and Lady Andrade -- to be their stars again.
