Brazil plays their first of four games without Neymar on Sunday, and they need a result against Venezuela to qualify for the knockout stages of Copa America. All three teams in Group A are on three points. By the time they take the pitch, Brazil will know what they need in the game to secure the top spot, though a draw will guarantee progression for both of these teams if the early game doesn’t also end in a draw.

Can Brazil get results without their superstar?

Venezuela pulled off a big upset in their opener, recording a shutout win over Colombia, but they were disappointing against Peru. They’ll need to step up their game considerably to get a result in this match, even if Brazil are without their best player.
How Brazil decides to replace Neymar is anyone's guess. Dunga could opt for a one-player swap and try to play similarly, or he might blow up his team and try something different altogether. While Neymar's absence should be a boost to Venezuela, the complete uncertainty over how they'll play might make them very hard to defend against.
