USA vs. Jamaica live stream: How to watch Gold Cup 2015 online

The United States men’s national team will finally play a meaningful, difficult match in Gold Cup on Wednesday.

After a tough, but comfortable group stage and a very easy quarterfinal, the United States finally face a serious test in a must-win game on Wednesday. Jamaica are the best team the USMNT have played yet, and they look capable of springing an upset.

Jamaica have sneakily been the second-best team in this tournament, topping a group that included Costa Rica. Though they would have liked a more comfortable win, the Reggae Boyz got here by defeating Haiti 1-0 in their semifinal. Giles Barnes scored in the 6th minute and his team never relinquished their lead. That was their third consecutive clean sheet, following their opening 2-2 draw against Los Ticos, so Clint Dempsey and company aren’t likely to find scoring easy.

Dempsey is currently the tournament’s leading scorer, and thanks to his hat trick against Cuba -- his first in a national team shirt -- he has three more goals than anyone else. He’s also the only player in the tournament that’s scored in all four games. He’ll be key for the USMNT.

The biggest questions about the United States lineup come along the back line. DaMarcus Beasley didn't play against Cuba due to a knock, but could start in this match. Jurgen Klinsmann also faces a tough decision at center back -- does he stick with the partnership that played well against a weak opponent, or does he reintroduce John Brooks? Jamaica has a similar question about whether or not to play forward Darren Mattocks, who was suspended against Haiti.
