There was a slight malfunction in the referee’s vanishing spray during the Gold Cup final between Mexico and Jamaica, and it left one player confused and messy. Yasser Corona thought he was just arguing with the referee when he got violently sprayed ... poor guy.

Of the two sides, Jamaica were certainly the more convincing in their semifinal. They had fewer chances than the United States, but converted a couple of set pieces and defended very well, earning a 2-1 victory. Mexico probably shouldn’t be here, but got a lot of very fortunate calls against Panama, including a stoppage time penalty while they were trailing. They went on to win 2-1 after extra time against 10 men.
