Manchester United won’t play or sell David De Gea
They still have a couple of weeks to pick one or the other.
Manchester United keep refusing Real Madrid’s bids for David De Gea, but they’re not comfortable playing him either. On Thursday, Louis van Gaal announced that Sergio Romero will start in goal again, with De Gea getting left out of the matchday squad.
Real Madrid supposedly made a “final bid” for De Gea, but if United thought that was the case, they’d be starting their best goalkeeper. Instead, it seems like they’re anticipating more offers, and De Gea’s head isn’t in the game because he’s anticipating them, too.
