And his agent is really mad.

While on the stage at an awards show on Monday, Kevin De Bruyne said that he would not be leaving Wolfsburg this summer. His agent disagrees, though, and is really mad. He says that De Bruyne has not made a decision on whether he’d like to leave Wolfsburg.

How did this happen? Well, even though De Bruyne has been in Germany for a while, he apparently doesn’t speak German that well. “A practical joke in a live show, in a language the player doesn’t completely understand? Unbelievable,” said Patrick De Koster. Basically, the host got De Bruyne to repeat after him, and the Wolfsburg star didn’t realize what he’d been made to say until it was too late. Whoops.
