Gabriel sent off for lightly grazing Diego Costa, who punched Koscielny in the face

Diego Costa has been trolling again.

Sometimes, football's rules don't make sense. But one man who has no problem with their confused logic is Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who knows very well that you can escape punishment for punching an opponent in the face, or knocking them to the ground with your terrifyingly large chest.

Unfortunately, Arsenal's Gabriel isn't quite as wily, and paid the price when he went up against the Chelsea man on Saturday. After Costa had got off scot-free for the aforementioned transgressions, Gabriel committed the cardinal sin of giving the Spaniard a slight graze on his shin pad. Of course, referee Mike Dean was right on the spot, and took immediate and decisive action:

Sometimes, you’ve just got to laugh.
