Arsenal fans want to ban anything and everything that annoys them

Arsenal lost to Chelsea this weekend, partially because Diego Costa got the better of a skirmish once again. He hit Gabriel in the face, referee Mike Dean didn’t see, Gabriel retaliated and Dean did see that. Arsene Wenger is mad, and he thinks Costa should be retroactively banned.

But Arsenal supporters are taking things a step farther ... with petitions! They want Mike Dean banned from refereeing Arsenal games, and a petition calling for that has 65,000 signatures at the time of posting. And even better than that, they’re boycotting Costa Coffee. Business at Starbucks is about to pick up in Islington.

Meanwhile, even Costa’s teammates admit he’s a giant cheater.

Goal of the weekend

The winner is Gio Simeone, Diego’s son -- on loan at Banfield from River Plate -- who finished off an amazing team move. (r/soccer)
