Luis Suárez rescues Barcelona with first-time rocket into the top corner

Barcelona spent about 80 minutes struggling to get anything going against Bayer Leverkusen. Sergi Roberto pulled them level with a scrappy goal. Two minutes later, Luis Suárez won the match for them with this first-touch rocket.

This is what Barca paid £75 million for -- someone who could score goals like this in big moments, especially in the event that Lionel Messi went down with an injury.

And it came in a must-win game for the Blaugrana too. They drew their opener against Roma, and Bayer Leverkusen had won their first group game. Even a draw would have been a disaster for Barcelona. But now, they’re in control of the group.
