Pep Guardiola is sorry for making Premier League managers’ lives miserable

Maybe he didn’t know what kind of turmoil he’d cause.

Following Bayern Munich’s announcement that Pep Guardiola wouldn’t be renewing his contract, Pep said that his next job would be in England. He didn’t mean to throw a wrench into the league and make everyone’s job feel insecure, but that’s exactly what he accomplished, and he’s sorry for it.

“Normally, in my career as a trainer, as a player, I respect a lot my colleagues, so I am sorry,” he said. “It wasn’t my intention.”

This probably won’t be any comfort to Louis van Gaal and Manuel Pellegrini, who know their time in their jobs might be up even if they finish the season very strongly.
