The MLS SuperDraft takes place on Thursday, giving everyone a chance to bolster their roster with a couple of young players. The draft isn’t the primary way to obtain talent anymore, but it’s not totally obsolete. Last year’s No. 1 overall pick Cyle Larin is a true franchise player for Orlando City, while three first round picks from 2014 have made their senior international debuts.

Joshua Yaro is the name to know this year. He can play anywhere along the back line and should go No. 1 overall. However, the Chicago Fire aren’t convinced by Yaro and are looking into international defenders, so they might trade the pick.

To get ready for the draft, here’s our mock draft. You can watch a live stream of the draft right here.
