Sepp Blatter is banned from being FIFA president, but they still pay him
For another month, at least.

Sepp Blatter has been banned from soccer, but FIFA still has to pay him. Because there isn’t a new FIFA president yet, he’s entitled to get money as long as he holds that position, even if he can’t act in it. “Until the election of a new president on February 26, Mr Blatter is the elected president and therefore - according to his contract - is entitled to receive his remuneration,” said a FIFA spokesperson.
