Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace 2016: Start time, live stream, TV schedule, and 3 things to know

Manchester City have won only one of their last five league matches, in a run that has seen Pep Guardiola's side cede top spot and slip below both Liverpool and Chelsea. Having started the season looking nigh-on infallible, they've certainly been brought down to earth with a bump. The Blues will look to get back to winning ways against Crystal Palace on Saturday, when they make the trip to Selhurst Park.

It’s a game they’ll be expecting to win, with Palace having lost four games on the bounce. Having made a solid start to the season, Alan Pardew’s side have worryingly tumbled down the table, and find themselves just a point and two places above the relegation zone after 11 matches. It’s certainly plausible that they’ll be in the bottom three by the time the weekend’s out.

Three big things to know

1. Palace will be without Pape Souaré, Loïc Rémy, Jonathan Benteke, and Steve Mandanda. Bakary Sako faces a late fitness test. City's only confirmed absentee is Fabian Delph; however, Bacary Sagna, Vincent Kompany and Fernando all face a race for match fitness.

2. Home advantage hasn’t tended to work a great deal in Palace’s favour so far this season: the Eagles have won just once in front of their own supporters. City, in contrast, have tended to enjoy their travels, winning all but one of their matches away from the Etihad.

3. City won all three of the meetings between these sides last season, by an aggregate scoreline of 10-1. It’s clear Palace have quite the job on their hands.
