Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool juggernaut was finally brought to a halt by Southampton last weekend, with the Merseysiders being held to a goalless draw away at St. Mary's. It ended a run of four straight wins in all competitions and enabled Chelsea to pull a point clear at the top of the Premier League table. However, Liverpool doubtless remain in an excellent position at this stage of the season, and they will look to get back to winning ways at home to struggling Sunderland on Saturday.
Liverpool vs. Sunderland 2016: Time, live stream, TV schedule, and 3 things to know
Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways at home to Sunderland on Saturday.

Sunderland are another team who have been given reason for optimism in recent weeks, but optimism of a very different kind. David Moyes' side started the season terribly, but consecutive league wins over Bournemouth and Hull City have enabled the Black Cats to move within a win of escaping the Premier League's relegation zone. They've still got plenty of work to do, but confidence should be high heading into this encounter.

Three big things to know
1. Liverpool haven't lost a single match since they were seen off 2-0 by Burnley on the Premier League's second matchday. Since then they've played 13 times, winning on 10 occasions and drawing the other three. It's an undoubtedly impressive run from one of the league's very best teams.
2. Sunderland have not completed a run of more than two consecutive league wins since May 2014, when Gus Poyet oversaw a remarkable late resurgence -- and four back-to-back wins -- en route to Premier League safety. They’ll be hoping to avoid having such a nervy conclusion to the campaign this time around.
3. Liverpool will still be without midfielder Adam Lallana, who joins long-term absentee Danny Ings on the sidelines with a groin injury. However, Sunderland have the lion's share of selection troubles: Paddy McNair, Fabio Borini and Lee Cattermole are all certainly out injured, while Papy Djilobodji is suspended. Jan Kirchhoff, Sebastian Larsson, Vito Mannone, Jack Rodwell and Jason Denayer all face late fitness tests.
