Liverpool's Premier League title charge has stuttered in recent weeks with Jürgen Klopp's men having won only one of their last four matches. They've fallen six points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, and will be looking to get things back on track after a disappointing draw to struggling West Ham United when they travel to newly-promoted Middlesbrough on Wednesday.
Liverpool vs. Middlesbrough 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online
Liverpool go up against one of the Premier League’s most miserly teams in Middlesbrough on Wednesday.

However, it could well prove to be a more difficult game for the Merseysiders than they’d expect. Boro may be down 16th in the table, just three points clear of the drop zone, but Aitor Karanka’s side are one of the most organized in the league. What they lack in attacking firepower they often make up for with strong defensive displays, and they’ll be hoping that proves sufficient for at least a point on Wednesday.

Three big things to know
1. Boro will miss star playmaker Gastón Ramírez through injury, though are hoping to have striker Álvaro Negredo back after a late fitness test. Fullbacks James Husband and George Friend are also doubts. Liverpool, however, have an even longer injury list: Philippe Coutinho and Danny Ings are both sidelined; Daniel Sturridge, Emre Can and Dejan Lovren are all doubts.
2. Incredibly, Liverpool have failed to win on their last seven visits to The Riverside Stadium. Not since 2002, when Emile Heskey and Steven Gerrard got on the scoresheet in a 2-1 victory have they taken all three points back to Merseyside. Boro’s scorer that day was Gareth Southgate, who has recently been appointed the new permanent England manager.
3. Only Arsenal, Southampton, Tottenham and Chelsea have conceded fewer goals in the league than Middlesbrough this season.
