Manchester City vs. Arsenal 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

Two title contenders face off at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

There's no doubt that the pick of the weekend's Premier League action comes at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with Manchester City set to welcome fellow title hopefuls Arsenal. Pep Guardiola's hosts head in a point and a place below the Gunners in the table, and have won only one of their last five home league matches. However, they stopped the rot with a solid victory over Watford in midweek, and will be hoping to maintain the momentum here.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are still smarting from their first Premier League defeat since the opening day of the season. They went down to a shock 2-1 defeat at Everton in the last round, slipping six points adrift of league leaders Chelsea in the process. Arsène Wenger's side will be looking to set things straight against an undeniably erratic City on Sunday.

Three big things to know

1. City have been dealt a blow by the news that midfielder Ilkay Gündogan has suffered a serious knee injury. He's set for months on the sidelines. Vincent Kompany and Fabian Delph are also currently injured, while Sergio Agüero and Fernandinho are suspended.

2. Arsenal's injury situation is unfortunately no better: Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Debuchy, Shkodran Mustafi, Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck are all first team regulars set to miss this match. However, Aaron Ramsey could make it back from a toe injury in time to play.

3. Arsenal have an impressive record against City, having not lost against them in the last five league encounters. They held the hosts to a 2-2 draw on their last visit to the Etihad back in May, with Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sánchez responding to goals from Sergio Agüero and Kevin De Bruyne respectively.
