Liverpool play host to Stoke City on Tuesday.

Stoke head into the match on the back of a three game winless streak, with Mark Hughes’ men having struggled for consistency so far this season. A win would see them back into the top half of the table, though picking up all three points is easier said than done away at one of the strongest teams in the division.

Three big things to know
1. Liverpool will be without Philippe Coutinho and Danny Ings, while Marko Grujić is also out injured. Defender Joel Matip will have to pass a late fitness test if he’s to play. For Stoke, Stephen Ireland, Phil Bardsley, Geoff Cameron, Jack Butland and Ibrahim Afellay are all on the treatment table, while Marko Arnautović is suspended. Marc Muniesa is an early doubt.
2. Liverpool have won their last four matches against the Potters, who have never won a top flight match away at Anfield in 53 attempts.
3. Liverpool’s impressive home record has extended through this season, with Klopp’s side still unbeaten at Anfield in the Premier League. They have, however, been held to two draws: against Manchester United and West Ham United.
