Wayne Rooney says Manchester United players to blame for bad season, not Louis van Gaal
He might be right, but that doesn’t mean Louis van Gaal is good.

Manchester United fans have been calling for Louis van Gaal’s head for quite a while, but Wayne Rooney says the manager isn’t the problem with the Red Devils. “The manager has taken a lot of stick for some performances,” said Rooney. “It’s down to us, we’re players and we have to perform. At times this season we haven’t done that. In terms of that, we’ve probably got off quite lightly and the manager has taken a lot of it.”
That’s fair, but the tactics are still boring.
