USMNT just hoping to get out of their Copa America group while Mexico expects to win theirs

The Copa America draw is out, and it wasn’t kind to the United States. They’ll have to play Colombia, Paraguay and Costa Rica. And while the Americans will be expected to get out of their group, they certainly won’t be heavy favorites.

“Obviously, it’s a difficult group, no doubt about it. But it’s doable,” said Jurgen Klinsmann about the draw. “They all have to come with their best teams. Would you like an easier group? Maybe on paper. But no group is easy. We’ll take it the way it is ... The objective is clearly getting out of the group, even if it’s not easy,” he said. “First or second with that group is both tremendously fine. We’ll just take it the way it is.”

Mexico boss Juan Carlos Osorio is quite a bit more confident about his draw. He admits that facing Luis Suarez will be a tough test, but says his goal is to finish top.
