Once a great battle for the Premier League title, this year’s Manchester Derby is not that at all. But the two teams are battling for the same thing this season, which could lead to a very exciting match between Manchester City and Manchester United.

One of England’s best games takes center stage on Sunday.

After sitting near the top of the table for most of the season, City have dropped into fourth place and are fighting to hold off challengers for the league’s final Champions League spot. One of those challengers is United, who have recently put together a handful of solid games. They’re threatening to turn their season around, and their restless fans will be a bit calmer if the Red Devils can take three points off their rivals.
Both teams have very long and punishing injury lists. Manchester City are missing their captain, Vincent Kompany, while fellow central defender Nicolas Otamendi is a slight doubt. Their midfield is handicapped too, with Kevin De Bruyne, Samir Nasri and Fabian Delph not fit for this game. Manchester United have had the worst injury luck in the league this season, and will be without Wayne Rooney yet again. Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Will Keane and Luke Shaw are also injured. Ander Herrera and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson are slight doubts with knocks.
