Liverpool will look to build on their thoroughly impressive 3-0 win over Manchester City in midweek when they travel to Crystal Palace on Sunday. Back-to-back league wins have seen Jürgen Klopp's side stay firmly ensconced in the top half of the table, and they're now only six points adrift of their fifth-placed rivals Manchester United. They're unlikely to make a run at the Champions League, but they'll be hoping for a strong end to what has been a pretty disappointing season regardless.

Liverpool can record their third consecutive league win away at Crystal Palace on Sunday.

They’ll certainly be confident of getting one over on a Crystal Palace side that has been in freefall since the turn of the year. Alan Pardew’s men haven’t won a single league game since before Christmas, and have seen their league position plummet from fifth to 14th. For the time being they still have some breathing space above the relegation zone, but they need to start picking up points from somewhere if they’re to avoid a nervy end to a campaign that looked so rosy just three months ago.
Key player: Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)
Liverpool will be hoping for another impressive performance from young forward Roberto Firmino, who has illustrated flashes of brilliant potential at times this season. However, the Brazilian is yet to really deliver on a consistent basis, which he must start doing if he’s to establish himself among the top players in the Premier League. If he’s at his best here, Palace’s defense will struggle to keep him quiet.

Palace have won three of their last four matches against Liverpool in all competitions, and haven’t lost to the Merseysiders in the league since a visit to Anfield all the way back in 2013. Even more impressively, you’ve got to go back to 1997 for the last time Liverpool won away at Selhurst Park. History suggests that Klopp’s men will certainly have a tough match.
