Arsenal's 2-2 draw away at Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend extended Arsène Wenger's side's winless run to five matches. Their hopes of winning the Premier League are fading almost as quickly as their hopes in the Champions League; the last thing the Gunners will want is to be dumped out of the FA Cup too. They take on second-tier outfit Hull City at the KC Stadium on Tuesday, having played out a goalless draw in the first fixture at the Emirates.

Hull have hit some rocky form of their own recently, with Steve Bruce’s side having won only one of their last five in all competitions. However, they’re still flying high in the Championship table, only three points adrift of the automatic promotion spots. Bruce may not be the most creative of managers, but one thing’s for certain: he knows how to organise a defence. They’re sure to make things difficult again for Arsenal here.
Key player: Alexis Sánchez (Arsenal)
Arsenal’s recent downturn has rather unsurprisingly coincided with some poor form from star winger Alexis Sánchez. The Chilean international made a blistering start to the season, but has since tailed off and only scored twice since November. If the Gunners are to stand any chance of a successful end to the campaign, they’re going to have to hope Sánchez can get back to his best once again.

Arsenal have tended to enjoy playing against Hull over recent years, with the Gunners having almost invariably ended up on the winning side. Their draw at the Emirates in late February was only the second time in the last seven years that the Gunners have failed to emerge from an encounter with the Tigers on the winning side. Hull, meanwhile, haven’t beaten Arsenal since a 2-1 win away at the Emirates back in 2008.
