More than half of women working in British soccer see sexism on the job
And 15 percent report being sexually harassed.

If you think working conditions are getting better for women working in soccer, you’d be mistaken. According to a survey conducted by Professor Sue Bridgewater of Liverpool University, which had 505 respondents, a quarter of women working in the sport in the UK have been bullied on the basis of gender and 15 percent have been sexually harassed. An amazing 19 percent say they’ve been banned from parts of soccer stadiums on the basis of gender, while 61 percent say they’ve witnessed sexism on the job.
During the last survey two years ago, 7 percent -- less than half the percentage in the current survey -- reported being sexually harassed.
