Liverpool will look to continue their good season-ending form with a win away at Swansea City on Sunday. Jürgen Klopp's men have lost only once since the start of February, and find themselves only four points adrift of fierce rivals Manchester United. They're very much looking to finish with a flourish after what has been, on the whole, a pretty disappointing campaign.

They should certainly feel confident of picking up a result away at a Swansea City side that find themselves down in 15th place. Consecutive defeats have left Francesco Guidolin’s side only nine points clear of the relegation zone, and though that should be more than enough for them to survive, the Swans have certainly been one of the division’s chief underperformers this season.

Key player: Gylfi Sigurðsson (Swansea City)

Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurðsson is enjoying a thoroughly impressive scoring run, with only Harry Kane and Sergio Agüero having found the net more often this calendar year. He seems to be really hitting his stride ahead of Iceland's debut major international tournament this summer, and Sigurðsson will be hoping to make the difference again at Anfield on Sunday.

Recent history

Liverpool have won five straight games against Swansea, with the Swans having not recorded victory in one of these fixtures since a League Cup encounter at Anfield in 2012. That said, Liverpool have only won away at the Liberty Stadium once since Swansea’s last promotion to the top flight, and the Welsh outfit may well be relying on home advantage again on Sunday.

Swansea City injuries and suspensions

Out: Leroy Fer, Alberto Paloschi (hamstring). In doubt: None.

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Joe Gomez, Danny Ings, Jordan Henderson (knee); Jordan Rossiter (hamstring); Emre Can, Divock Origi (ankle); Mamadou Sakho (suspended). In doubt: Philippe Coutinho (illness).

Swansea will be without midfielder Fer and striker Paloschi with hamstring injuries, though should otherwise have a full-strength team. The same can't be said for Liverpool, who trail only Stoke City in the Premier League's injury table. However, they'll hope to have star attacker Coutinho back from illness in time for him to play.
