Hertha Berlin giving fans free beer in hopes of getting extra-loud support
What could possibly go wrong?

It’s been an excellent season for Bundesliga yo-yo club Hertha Berlin. They’ve spent most of the last decade bouncing between the first and second divisions, but they’re currently sitting in fifth. They’ve had a rough April, however, and need their fans to have their loudest game of the season this weekend. Because of that, everyone’s getting free beer.
Hertha plays 14th-placed Darmstadt on Saturday and currently sits one point out of the final Champions League spot in the Bundesliga. They could jump Borussia Mönchengladbach -- who has a much tougher opponent in Bayer Leverkusen -- with a win.
