Gareth Bale puts Real Madrid on top of Manchester City

He’s brought his league form over to the Champions League.

It's been a solid season for Gareth Bale when he hasn't been injured, though he's struggled to bring his best form to the Champions League. That is, until now. Just 20 minutes into Real Madrid's second leg against Manchester City, he put his team on top.

That's a gorgeous finish from a tight angle, and with his weaker foot too. It took a slight deflection, and that meant Joe Hart didn't have any chance to make a save. This goal put Madrid 1-0 up.
