Tottenham Hotspur's hopes of winning the league title came to an unsightly end at Stamford Bridge last Monday, when Mauricio Pochettino's side were held to a 2-2 draw by Chelsea, thereby handing the trophy to Leicester City. Spurs now only have second place left to fight for, with Pochettino's men having already guaranteed themselves a spot in the Champions League.
Tottenham vs. Southampton 2016 live stream: Game time, TV schedule and how to watch online
Spurs will look to get back to winning ways at home to Southampton on Sunday.

They’ll look to defiantly bounce back at home to Southampton on Sunday, with the White Hart Lane crowd sure to give them a rapturous reception after an undeniably successful and entertaining campaign. However, Southampton are certainly capable of upsetting the celebrations; Ronald Koeman’s side have won five of their last seven, and are still in with a chance of overtaking West Ham and snatching a European slot.
Key question: Will Pochettino be able to motivate his troops?
The home support is sure to be strong for this match, but there still remains a question over how motivated Spurs will be for a game that is fairly meaningless. Add to that the fact that they’ll be missing a fair chunk of their midfield through suspension, and Southampton will certainly be fancying their chances of picking up a result at White Hart Lane.
Recent history
That said, Southampton's record against Spurs over the last few years has been incredibly poor. They've lost all but one of their last seven meetings, with the other being a 2-2 draw at St. Mary's last April. Not since 2005 have they managed to beat Spurs, and you've got to go all the way back to 2003 for the last time they won away at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham Hotspur injuries and suspensions
Out: Nabil Bentaleb (knee); Danny Rose (hamstring); Dele Alli, Mousa Dembélé (suspended). In doubt: Toby Alderweireld (knee).
Southampton injuries and suspensions
Out: Florin Gardoș (knee). In doubt: None.
Spurs will be without three key first-teamers in Rose, Alli and Dembélé. However, coach Pochettino will be hoping to have Alderweireld available after a knee injury. Southampton’s only absentee is defender Gardoș, who has yet to make an appearance this season courtesy of an ACL injury.
