Liverpool vs. Watford 2016 live stream: Start time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Sunday, when they welcome mid-table Watford to Anfield. Jürgen Klopp's side appear to have been distracted from domestic affairs by their impressive Europa League run, and have picked up a solitary point from their last couple of matches. They'll certainly be expecting to put an end to that in this one.

Watford have only won four league games since the start of 2016, though two of them have come in the last three weeks. Quiqué Sánchez Flores’ side appear to be recovering from their wobble just in time to give Liverpool a contest on Sunday. The Hornets are a rugged, physical team, and if they’re sufficiently motivated, they’ve certainly got the ability to cause problems for their hosts’ defence.

Key player: Troy Deeney (Watford)

Watford's poor run of form coincided, not coincidentally, with a barren spell from their talismanic striker Troy Deeney. However, the powerful forward has netted three goals in his last couple of games in all competitions, including a brace as the Hornets came from behind against Aston Villa last time out. He'll be looking to turn in a similarly dominant display in this match.

Recent history

Watford impressively won the reverse fixture 3-0, with Odion Ighalo scoring a brace as they surged up the table over the festive period. That ended a run of five straight Liverpool wins in meetings with the Hornets, who haven’t won away at Anfield since August 1999. That season, they went on to finish rock bottom of the league.

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Jordan Henderson (knee); Jordan Rossiter (hamstring); Divock Origi (ankle); Mamadou Sakho, Brad Smith (suspended). In doubt: Joe Gomez, Danny Ings (knee); Connor Randall (illness).

Watford injuries and suspensions

Out: Étienne Capoue (knee); Valon Behrami (rib); Joel Ekstrand (knee). In doubt: None.

Liverpool still have a fairly length injury list, compounded by the suspension of centre-back Sakho for failing a drugs test. However, Klopp could have attackers Gomez and Ings back after length layoffs, while youngster Randall is expected to be available after illness.

Watford will be without one of their most instrumental players in Capoue; the Frenchman is sidelined alongside his midfield counterpart Behrami and centre-back Ekstrand.
