France vs. Romania live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Euro 2016 online

France are hoping to get the European Championships started in winning fashion against Romania.

The European Championships are finally set to start, with host France getting the tournament started with a match against Romania in the Stade de France. Arguably the biggest of all the non-World Cup international tournaments, Euro 2016 could be the most fun edition of it yet -- and this match may be a perfect way to start it.

This France team is a young and hungry one, and it's absolutely loaded with talent throughout their attack and midfield -- and their defense is no pushover either. They're headlined by Paul Pogba, but he's far from alone among premier talent in this resurgent national side. They're ready to join the elite of international football, and a strong performance on home soil in this summer's Euros will do exactly that.

While their opponents Romania are regarded as one of the lesser sides in the tournament this year and often seen as a boring team, they’re also well capable of pulling out periodic jaw-dropping performances. When they’re motivated and in-form, they’re a team that can hang around with anyone in Europe, and it’s hard not to be motivated when the Euros come around. Don’t be surprised if they make some noise and cause some upsets in this tournament -- and that could start with France.

To watch this match online in the U.S. you’ll be using Watch ESPN, and in France it will be streamed on beIN Sports Connect. The match is not being shown online in Romania, but for listings in other countries you can check LiveSoccerTV.

TV: ESPN2 (U.S. - English), ESPN Deportes (U.S. - Spanish), beIN Sports 1, 2, TF1 (France), ProTV, Dolce Sport 1 (Romania), ITV1 (U.K.)

Match Date/Time: Friday, 3 p.m. ET, 9 p.m. local

Venue: Stade de France, Saint-Denis, France
