England vs. Russia 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch UEFA Euros online
England and Russia make for a bizarre and confusing Euro matchup.
On one side, you’ve got an England team that has recently been fun and entertaining to a degree that’s borderline uncharacteristic compared to their recent history. It’s a younger side than we’re used to seeing from England, but Roy Hodgson’s side might actually be better for it considering that their youth includes the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, and Nathaniel Clyne, who all enjoyed excellent club campaigns and have looked solid in their recent England Caps.
On the other side, you’ve got a Russia side that always looks like they should be a good team, but rarely actually plays like one. That disparity has been typified in their recent struggles, winning only one of their last five matches, though they also ripped off a four-match win streak during qualifying to assure themselves of a place in the Euros. If they can find that version of themselves again, they might be a team to be reckoned with in this tournament -- but history suggests that they won’t.
