Euro 2016 got underway on Friday with a classic game between France and Romania. On Saturday, the tournament really gets going, with a full slate of three games. From now until June 22, there will be at least two games -- usually three, sometimes four -- every single day.
Euro 2016 schedule: England vs. Russia headlines 3 game slate
It’s the first full day of European Championship action.

Saturday’s slate kicks off with a battle of the Xhaka brothers. Taulant suits up for Albania, while Granit -- who recently moved to Arsenal -- lines up for Switzerland. The middle game features two of the teams thought of as being about one star and a supporting cast, Wales and Slovakia. Gareth Bale will have to be on top of his game for Wales to advance in the tournament, while Slovakia are depending on a big performance from Marek Hamsik.
In the late game, England will be facing some big expectations against Russia. This is Roy Hodgson’s best squad of the three he’s taken to major tournaments, while Russia is very much a team in transition, prepping for World Cup 2018.
