Argentina made relatively light work of their first two opponents in the Copa América Centenario, seeing off Chile, 2-1, before swatting Panama aside with a comprehensive 5-0 victory. It means they've already guaranteed their place in the knockout stages heading into their final group game against Bolivia on Tuesday, though they'll be hoping to maintain their momentum against one of South America's traditionally weaker sides.

Indeed, Bolivia head into the game with nothing but pride to play for. La Verde opened the tournament with a crushing defeat to Panama and followed it up with a 2-1 loss at the hands of Chile. It means they find themselves mathematically eliminated at the earliest opportunity, and coach Julio César Baldivieso would do well to motivate his troops before this dead rubber. If they fail to turn up, they could well suffer a heavy defeat.

Key player: Lionel Messi (Argentina)

Even when he starts from the bench, Lionel Messi still manages to steal the show. He netted a hat trick in Argentina's hammering of Panama despite only replacing Augusto Fernández past the hour mark and will likely be itching to return to their starting lineup for this match. If he does feature, things could get messy in the Bolivia defense.

Recent history

Argentina have won their last three matches against Bolivia with a combined aggregate scoreline of 14-0. Not since a World Cup qualifier in Buenos Aires back in 2011 has Bolivia avoided defeat against their more illustrious opponents. Though they did muster a shocking 6-1 victory back in 2009, that was in the extraordinarily difficult altitude of La Paz. Away from home, they tend to find things a real struggle.
