Though Spain's encounter with Croatia on Tuesday is the more glamorous of the two ties, it's arguably Group D's other clash that is the more intriguing. The Czech Republic face off against Turkey in a do-or-die encounter in which both sides could really do with picking up all three points.

The Czech Republic take on Turkey in a do-or-die encounter in Lens on Tuesday.

The Czechs rescued their first point of the tournament against Croatia in the last match, fighting back from two goals down in the dying moments to ensure they head into the final matchday in third place. However, with two points not guaranteed to be enough to see them through into the knockouts as one of the best third-place finishers, they could really do with a win against Turkey in Lens.
However, Turkey will certainly be more than up for the fight. They’ve lost both of their opening games, and need a victory to stand any chance of leapfrogging the Czech Republic and making it through into the knockout stages. As it stands, Turkey have been one of the more underwhelming teams at the tournament, and will certainly need to raise their game if they’re to manage to pull anything off here.
