A win would see Ireland finish no worse than third in their group, with an excellent chance to advance as one of top finishing third-place teams. It would be a dream come true for Irish fans to see their team advance, but it’s going to take a top notch performance to get the job done, even if Italy do rest a number of their most important players. That situation -- with Ireland desperate and Italy playing with nothing to lose -- should make for a fun and entertaining match.
