For the first time ever, both Wales and Northern Ireland didn't just make the European Championships -- the two British sides did well enough to make the knockout rounds. That's an incredible achievement worthy of praise and reward, but unfortunately their reward is to face each other.
Wales vs. Northern Ireland 2016: Time, TV schedule and live stream for Euro 2016
We’ve got an all-United Kingdom match in the Euro 2016 Round of 16, which should make the match even more important for both teams.

It’s not a matchup that favors Northern Ireland well, with Wales holding major advantages in terms of pace and midfield quality that might be too much for the Irish to overcome. They also have to face off with Gareth Bale, which has been a daunting task for all of Wales’ opponents so far this summer.
Northern Ireland aren’t going to give up, though, because they don’t want this adventure to end just yet. Just as they have all throughout qualifying and the group stage, they’re going to fight until the very last whistle, and if Wales give them any opening at all to try and exploit, Northern Ireland will scrape and claw and scratch their way into getting a positive result in this match.
To watch this match online in the U.S. you’ll be using ESPN3 or WatchESPN. In Wales or Northern Ireland -- and the rest of the U.K. -- you’ll be using the BBC iPlayer, and for listings in the rest of the world, you can look on LiveSoccerTV.
