Those three names headline the summer signings for Manchester as they look to get back into England’s elite after too long out of the top four, and fans will want them to gel and start playing at a high level as quickly as possible. Bournemouth can be a tough opponent, but if Manchester play at the level their talent suggests they should win easily -- but the last few years, that’s been easier said than done. Throw in adapting to new tactics and getting three major new players bedded into the team, and things could be pretty shaky. Manchester have been aggressive in their preseason preparations, though, to try to accelerate the adaptation process. Time to see how well it’s worked.
