Jürgen Klopp's first full season as Liverpool manager got off to an exciting start last weekend, with the Merseysiders scraping a spectacular 4-3 win over Arsenal in a tough Premier League opener. They'll look to maintain that momentum when they visit newly-promoted Burnley on Saturday, and they certainly have a great chance of doing so. Another win here, and they will certainly have set the tone for a very promising campaign.
Liverpool vs. Burnley 2016 live stream: Start time, TV schedule and how to watch online
Liverpool will look to make it two wins from two when they face Burnley on Saturday.

Burnley have done alarmingly little in the transfer market since winning promotion for the second time under Sean Dyche, and they fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Swansea City in their first game of the campaign. Tipped by many as one of the strongest relegation candidates, they’ll be looking to avoid being sucked into a spiral of doom at this early point in the season. Anything other than a defeat at Turf Moor on Saturday must surely be considered a great result.
Key player: Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool)
There’s no doubting that the creative star of this Liverpool team is Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho. The 24-year-old enjoyed his best season in the Premier League so far in the last campaign, and now has sufficient experience to establish himself among the division’s top performers. If he manages to add a little more consistency to his game, he really will be one of the very best.
Recent history
Liverpool have played Burnley only four times in the last seven years, though on each occasion have triumphed without conceding a single goal. You’ve got to go all the way back to 2005 for the last time Burnley managed to get one over on the Reds, when they earned an impressive 1-0 victory in the 2004-05 edition of the FA Cup.
Burnley injuries and suspensions
Out: Ashley Barnes (hamstring); Jon Flanagan (ineligible). In doubt: None.
Liverpool injuries and suspensions
Out: Loris Karius (broken hand); Sheyi Ojo (back). In doubt: Marko Grujić (ankle); Mamadou Sakho (Achilles); Joe Gomez (knee); Lucas Leiva (hamstring); Sadio Mané (shoulder).
Burnley's only injury concern is striker Barnes, who will miss out with a hamstring injury. However, he'll be joined on the sidelines by full-back Flanagan, who is ineligible to play against his parent club. Liverpool, meanwhile, still have a lengthy injury list, with the latest addition being summer signing Mané: the former Southampton man is likely to miss out with a shoulder problem.
